Participants will be involved in a riding activity including 1 hour walk and activities with skill and confidence tests as well as tests to approach the horse. The proposed activities intend to test the confidence within the team and the ability to establish a relationship of empathy with the others. The distrustful nature of the horse (as prey) requires a humble but firm, clear and transparent approach. Hesitations or ambiguous attitudes cause greater distrust in the animal and a further difficulty in accepting a relationship of confidence with the human subject.
– Horse approaching and ground-driving techniques (icebreaking activities, all together);
– Stable activities: stall and animal cleaning, harness maintenance + horse ground driving, with companion into the saddle. In Couple (1st group);
– Walk (2° group).
In the second part of the activity the groups are reversed.
